Maxwell Render | Official public forum

Stopped the render normally. Closed Maxwell.
MXI looked like this when I opened it :

So much for my 12h of computing
I suppose something went wrong when writing the file, but shouldn't there be some kind of check built in Maxwell so that at least the user gets a warning, and can attempt to save again ?

Did you rendered a regional rendering for this?
As I know, region rendered mxi is not correctly opened.

look in temp folder ... mayby there is temp.mxi with smaller SL

This is a normal full render, not a region.
I was able to get a backup with a lower SL indeed, but this still sucks.
There SHOULD be some kind of check whether a saved file is corrupt or not....
