Licenses of mixed ownership on a network

If I'm working at an office that has a small Maxwell capability licensed to it, lets say 1 seat + 2 more render nodes, and I want to give them some temporary boost from my own set licensed to me, lets say it is identical to the one I just mentioned --

Are there any license issues that would prevent me from networking my hardware/software to their hardware/software?

Have you tried it yet? I'd be curious to see if the network manager allowed it. If it doesn't work, you might be able to run two "separate" network managers, one for each group of licensed computers and then manually merge the 2 outputs. Also, there might be some legal issues... If you contact NL, they may even be able to give you a temporary combined license?

I don't have the additional hardware to try it, but I was thinking about getting some.

The easiest solution if there are any problems is just to keep the networks separate, as you suggest.
