Orange Glow in Cavities

See this orange glow in the wrist hinge?

I've been noticing that effect here and there.

I have a flesh-toned cg Poser mannequin standing where the model is and I cut it crudely and shifted the upper part to align it with the photography (I use it invisible to camera for shadow casting, reflections, etc)

-- anyway, I could see a bright orange glow developing inside the hollow body.

The lights in the scene are fairly distant (a good 6 feet away) and are around 5600 K (like my real lights are)

Excellent composite render -- the orange glow is fascinating. No clue.

Did you use wizard metal? Try lowering the "k" value. Maybe test it with k=0.

I did use wizard gold 30% roughness . I will try your test suggestion. Thanks.

(although I saw it earlier in simple skin-colored 90% rough 'skin' stand-in on my now invisible mannequin.)
