thin SSS causing weird color inversion

Hi everyone - it's been a while i think.
I'm currently working in a new environment and finally had the chance to get my hands on V2. Very nice improvements.
I need the thinSSS feature for a project that i'm working on.. i basically want to create a realistic 100€ banknote.
The geometry is a thin box (!), not a plane - as i have to be able to map it on both sides. So this is what happens when using thin SSS:

The transmissive samples seem to be inverted in color.. why? it also occurs when i use a plane. I tried to invert the respective material channels - it didn't help.
here's a screenshot of the material:

i am thankful for all hints to solve this..
