Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I haven't touched Maxwell for months and now could not find a hint by searching.

Here's an old mxs rendered with V1 (2 x 2,26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, sun switched on in the physical sky menu, dosch hdri applied to all):

If I load the same mxs into V2 and push the render button the result will look like this:

Where is the sun gone?

Lately sun + hdri ilumination won't work together.

It looks like you had the illumination channel disabled and used the sun for that? Check the scene in Studio V2, disable the illumination channel and make sure Use for disabled is set to Physical Sky in the Environment panel.

Thank you, Mihai, that's it. It seems, however, that in V1 sunlight worked even if the illumination channel was not disabled (in my old mxs file it actually wasn't). So V2 behaves indeed more consequentially.
