Is there some automatic bloom in V2?

Hello everybody
Since Maxwell Render V2, I realized that there is a strange effect... bright areas in the image often get 'washed out', and windows (in a interior shot) get some bloom like glow...
But there is no SimuLens used...
Why is that? Does it has anything to do with the camera settings?
I use the C4D Plugin with basic settings, no SimuLens, no changes in CameraShape or anything.

Cheers, Oliver

P.S. I'm sorry, I can't upload pictures right now, I'm not at work... :(
But hope you know what I mean anyway.

Might be just over exposure, I'm constantly plating with my ISO and shutter speeds.

Ah you know what??
I just found out (was I blind before???) that scattering actually WAS active. It was 50%...
But I never set that in the Plugin or anywhere...
So is 50% scattering now a basic default setting in Maxwell V2?
Can I change that anywhere?

Isn't that a known bug in the current C4D plugin, that bloom is activated when rendering even if you deactivate it beforehand. I think so.. check the C4D subforum for posts about it there.

This is not a bug in the Cinema plugin - maxwell.exe is rendering with Scattering enabled regardless of whether or not it is enabled in the mxs file. I thought this was fixed already, but just noticed it had come back again about a day before the 2.0.1 release, so it could not be fixed. There are a few workarounds available from the plugin side including:

1. edit the default_scene.xml file in the plugin's /res folder such that scattering is set to 0
2. use Scene Object > Output > Scene Presets > Save to Preset file to overwrite the default_scene.xml file
3. use Cinema's Attribute Manager > Scene Object > Edit > Set as Default feature to save a custom preset for Scene Objects
