Hello everyone,
I finally had a chance to test v2 and had a question regarding the Matte attribute in a material with an emitter.
In version 1.7 I had an object with a material that contained an emitter and the material itself was checked as matte. It illuminated the scene but the object itself did not appear.
If I render the same scene in v2, the object with the emitter appears, even though the matte checkbox is still checked. Also, if I create a new emitter in the material editor under v2 or studio under v2 I see the same behavior, the emitter itself is not hidden.
I don't think this is the expected behavior of a matte material, is it?
Perhaps I am doing something wrong in the Layered Material?
Thanks,
