zooming maxwell render...and other issues

in v1.7 i sometimes zoomed out to see my image at 50% of its size or 25%. this helped me evaluate how the image would look like with less noise, because the bicubic interpolation would merge the big image into a smaller one.

not in V2..even zoomed out it looks noisy and aliased.

SOLVED also multilight: i cannot put in numerical values anymore to change the light, only move the sliders :(
i'm not a DJ - can i have the numerical input back?

otherwise it's really fast..but the whole light distribution changed..so i have to rebuild my photo studio setup, as it look bad right now in V2

The numerical values work as usual.... :?: Can you see the inputs? Resize the ML panel if not.

hmmm..changed the lights in multilight..more intensity..and the whole image has now a magenta-ish tint..although the light is completely white.

You shouldn't need to switch to horizontal layout though....You can drag the top of the panel up to resize it. Can you post a screenshot or PM me an image? Should not change colors....

when i save an image as a png (8 or 6 bits) and open it in picture viewer (quicktime) it's overexposed. in photoshop it looks okay. that was not the case in V1.7

yeah mihai..i was just rendering fairly large images..so the multilight window was not completely visible..just had to rearrange the window sizes

If you open that old mxi in Maxwell, re-save it? You can PM me the scene with just the backdrop and mxi if you can.....

yes if open an old mxi..i don't even have to save it..it's already pink in maxwell render..i will try to create new lights with V2 and see if this helps

edit: cannot send you the scene..super heavy..and if i change it right now with a simple object..well it gets exported as v2 anyway.

The old MXI may come in pink (basically shifted in its color space) because now v2 loads it up assuming it was rendered using sRGB, but it was something not accurately profiled as in V2. So that happens...
