No, not in this intensity but you can see them, I posted the wrong Image version(in this Image Version I played a little with Levels because of the minimal artefacts in the Original-File, the strong artefacts depend on an minimum of Levels not compression).

that´s the correct file.

hi guys, here's another V2 "test" scene from the personal project i'm working on (from the same world as the Mobly Squad and the SS Pinto Bean, for those who are familiar with it  )......... the couch cattle gather as the storm begins to brew.... there's a few minor displacement issues on the ground :? .........nonetheless, hope you enjoy :)

mverta wrote:Actually what matters is whether he achieved his intent or not. If his intent was to make a miniature scene, then he achieved it. I just don't see a lot of evidence that the chairs are supposed to be 3 inches high, is all.
actually just under 4 inches mike, but that's a very close estimate
thanks for pointing out the evidence cue, it's something that's been weighing on my mind.
i'm currently setting up scenes for this around the basis of 1inch=1ft and the details portraying this evidence have been omitted partially because the ship has yet to sail on whether or not that will align properly. there's a few other scenes which i'm hoping will dictate whether or not it's a coherent solution, but i'm in agreement concerning the evidence factor based on what's shown...
thanks for all the words. (and delicate debate :) )

I'm not 100% sure of what you're saying here, but I can offer that unless you model and do your scene at 1:1 scale, it will never "photograph" correctly. An alternative is to use the Global Scale factor to compensate, but one way or another, only 1:1 will respond with predictable f-stop settings. You can always just raise the f-stop to compensate, but in terms of working with familiar ranges, etc., working at 1:1 makes it basically a no-brainer! It's a cool look in miniature; almost like those shift-lens photos... I just figured it wasn't the actual intent.

Best,

_Mike
