This is an old wish, but I still think it is needed:
More stable versions.
Since Maxwell is in continuous development, it is continually suffering from malfunctioning, in diferent degrees.
I know it is impossible to get it right in one step, but I must say that sometimes we need stability, for instance a certain version that could be specially stable.
Other software developers use to provide two kind of updates, the safer for people who needs stability, and the risky for people that wants to explore new stuff.
This do not means Next Limit to work double, it only needs certain order, as follows:
step 1: introduce new stuff, together with the risk of malfunctioning, and provide a normal update
step 2: fix bugs recently introduced (but do not introduce more new stuff) and provide a normal update.
step 3: fix all possible bugs that could appear as result of the new functionality added in step 1, and provide a safe update.
step 4: introduce new stuff an on...
In this way, users can choose (depending on circumstances) a safe version (step 3) or the newest version (step 4)
This should be informed in the web site, so that everybody can choose.
