Running some shadow passes the past few days I've noticed something unexpected. Obviously, materials that don't have Shadow checked show up as 255 white. However, in the image below for example, where the asphalt, sidewalk, and concrete curbs have Shadow checked, even where there is no shadow they are showing up around 234-237 light gray. Is there a reason for this? I'm using physical sky for illumination, btw.
