I've got a so-so laptop and I'm getting ready to buy a real nice rendering desktop computer for home. I'd like the ability to model and do what I need to do on the laptop while I'm out and about (later on I'll use it in Grad school). But then I'd like to be able to send my model to my desktop for rendering while I'm away from home. Any suggestions on the best way to do this?

I've been thinking about a combo of Dropbox and Logmein but if I can refine that I'd be happy. My thought is to keep my files in my dropbox account and then use logmein to log into my desktop and start the rendering. I'm wondering if there's a better way.
