Hi all, good to have a Plugin,
but when i´m trying to render my beta cinema4d files through the new plugin and RC3, it says very often "invalid normal value".
what does it mean ?
with the beta plugin everything went fine on that scenes.

I have the same issue, I export my model from VectorWorks 11.5 (DXF) and load into Cinema when I hit RENDER it's say "invalid normal value", but if I click many times (OK) I get my render
Here the file:

don´t know what this is.
it appears not with every scene, and if i click constantly about 20 times "yes", i get my render too.

rendertaxi: did you delete every cinema material with a map in it ?
then it says to me:
map couldn´t be created,
ahhh, and i had the same problem: mxs couldn´t be written.
this is cause maxwell doesn´t create an output folder during installation.
create one in the next limit/maxwell folder, and it should work

arch4d, thanks a lot, that was the mistake:
i needed to create the folder "output" in the maxwell folder.
"..\maxwell\output\" is where cinemaxwell tries to save the mxs.

Got the "invalid normal value" error as well. Although hysterical clicking on the yes-button doesn´t work here.
CTRL-ALT-DELETE does however...
And it took them 5 months to come up with this...

Many thanks from me too, arch4d.
Another install bug from NL. but with an easy workaround.
P.S.: RenderTaxi, next year i want to meet you at the Katschhof!
We have to render at least one Glühwein

the problem appeared because i didn´t have the beta installed on that machine. if you install over your beta folder, the output folder remains -> nor error appears.
anyway i had no problems installing the newer version over the old one (without deinstalling).
@arch4d: thank you, we will try our best!

just other projects keep us busy, but i hope soon i find time again.
@janosch: what are you doing in spain then? did you study architecture? ... anyway, rendering glühwein is very hard.. is there a material preset in the RC?

renders quality is still very far from beta, but now that there is a working c4d plugin again, i can hope too.
@rendertaxi: I studied civil engeneering in AC.
and Spain.... because of my girlfriend
I guess whe have to wait until RC100 to have some alcoholic Mat presets
