100% dissappointment.
Maxwell should have been called 3D Studio Max-well cause from the very beginning Maxwell was always tightly intergrated into 3D Studio. Makes me wonder if Autodesk owns Next Limit in some way.
Looks like C4D will always be behind and I fear C4D users will always never get the best out of Maxwell (even when 1.0full is released) because of an inferior plug-in. This reminds me of the apartheid that still happens in South Africa.

Shaun, the Cinema plugin is supposed to be ready in December. Maybe just wait for it before claiming it a total loss.
Beside, there's no way that all the plugins would be ready at the same time. Unfortunately for us NL is Max-centric - and has ever been, so this shouldn't come as a surprise.
Until then, you may have a look at the Maxon website for the new Cinema Hair module... it just *rocks*, and it's already included in the new Cinema Studio demo!

I actually like the C4D stuff when it worked - it's undercooked but there are all those tools that users coded. And using the Maxwell tags so your scene can work in the C4D renderer or Maxwell without having to change everything - Max doesn't have that.
Now update the plugin! FinalRender 2 works, and it's fast - C4D's answer to VRay. People are buying it even as I type this.

Hi Tlass,
You'll enjoy a lot when you see the end of this tool in a few days.

Today, I wrote an email to Nextlimit - i want my money back.
This piece of software is far from what I wanted to buy - a working Plugin for Cinema 4D.
We will see how Nextlimit reacts...
