Just downloading the manual now.

If you can make the new hair editable then it should render with Maxwell. Expect high poly counts though.

I have Shave and Haircut (sold also by Maxon) and I wonder what will become of that?

Actually I have it, too. However, I'm confident that it's dead in the water.

There were not much updates resently and it looks *so* inferior to Maxon hair that I think it doesn't make any sense to develop it further.

Even now Cinema Hair has more striking examples already than S&H ever had. The handling looks really great, integration will be solid, and as it generates geometry as well it shuld work with M~R, too.

Kabe, still waiting for Cinemaxwell / OS X

Kabe & Fluffy: I agree that Maxon's Hair module looks very much better in terms of quality and ease of use. From what I have read in the Hair manual and seen in other forums then I don't see Shave being on my sytem for too long either.
