I just rendered the same (fairly simple geometry) scene in C4D that I had rendered out in Archicad, both with the MW plugin, same mxm, same settings. The output in C4D (top image) shows very dramatic displacement which is not occurring in the archicad render (bottom). I should probably clarify that the original geometry was created in Archicad and exported to C4D via the plugin.

Does have a texture aplied?
If so, check for the mapping.

Yes, there is a texture map, I'll see what happened with the C4D UV mapping when the geometry was imported (if I can figure that out...I'm still a novice with C4D as well)...ugh, nothing easy
