Unless i'm doing something wrong, but i doubt it then you cannot rotate the sky object with a hdr on it. It will always render the same with default rotation no matter how much you rotate the skyobject. If that makes any sense..

have you tried to rotate the axis of the hdr-texture? sometimes this seems to make the rotation...

I'll try that, thanks for the tip. Maybe it's like it should be.. i mean in real life you cannot really rotate the sky.

Maximus3D: I've always found the best control of HDRI's comes within Maxwell Studio. Generally, a lot of Cinemas' material system looks outdated when compared to Maxwells'.
Not sure if the Cinema/Maxwell plugin supports Cinemas' material projector (found in the effects menu of Cinemas various material channels) but I use it when rendering with Cinema - a nice tidy way to rotate sky HDRI's.

Hey Max,
click on your hdr tag that is attached to the sky object and use the x/y offset to rotate.
