Plastic material

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to make a shiny plastic material only by using C4D material settings?

hardly, a shiny plastic is best represented using 2 bsdf layers and a c4d material currently isn't capable of more than one bsdf, at least to my knowledge.

All in all i would not bother with C4D materials too much at this moment in time. You will get faster and more precise using mxms.

It's well what I thought.
The problem is that I got to teach Maxwell to others C4D users and I'm searching for the easiest way to create simple materials directly from C4D material tag.
It is OK for lots of materials but not for simple shiny plastics.

This used to be so easy with the older plugin - a simple Maxwell plastic tag could be allocated to an object directly.

Maybe you will have to teach other Cinema users how to open the mxm editor from within Cinema?
