Hi

Since 10.5 is released, does anyone know if the current plugin will work with it and also if anyone from the NL staff knows if the new updated plugin to be released (soon) will work with 10.5 ?

10.5 works with the recent release so I guess it will be working with the future Maxwell also.

just to warn you: I only tried common things that I used in cinema 10 as well. No new feature like Xref tried!
Just added some more objects and modelled some more parts. ... to render these is no problem..

X-Ref does not seem to work but a quick make editable before exporting the mxs takes care of that, then you can undo or turn the object back to x-ref.

that sounds good. But perhaps will the "soon" available new maxwell and the new cinema plugin take care of that issue as well.

Any news on the development?

Well, maybe holding my breath until I turn purple and jumping up and down screaming "I WANT IT, I WANT IT" will speed things up. Seems to work for my three year old. :D

I´ld advice against it. So far all my older scenes have been unrenderable with C4D 10.5 and Maxwell 1.5 combined. New scenes seem to work fine for the most part, but if you have some old stuff, i´ld recommend finishing them up first.

I´m not sure where the problem is. It doesn´t necessarily have to be with Maxwell, C4D 10.5 has a known memory leak that can build up to crashes, so that may very well be the issue here.

Well the object works but without any materials. It's rather annoying to always remember the Make Editable - Render - Undo sequence.

Is this being adressed in any future updates?
