There is a problem with texture export on OSX - the textures are exported with wrong tiling and thus the faces render completely black. We are working hard to solve this ASAP.

Well, I still has this problem ..
When rendering trough the new cinemaxwell plugin (07-05-31)
I am not able to get the textures to mxcl...
Then I tried to extract the materials with mxed.
In a scen with 4 simple planes with diffuse material on that are named diffrently.
Only one of the 4 diffuse materials is extracted...
textures are default in real scale and inverted(!)
I am on c4d R10.1 and OSX
same here

My wood textures open blue in the MXCL.
MacBook Pro, 2.16GHz, 2GB, Mac OS 10.4.9
Cinema 4D v.9.6UB
M~R v1.5.0.2, C4D/M~R plugin update 07.05.31

That's because they are inverted colour wise.

And, this is a response from Jorge Alix (NL):
"There is a bug in the macintel machines the tiles are not transferred correctly, so to solve this you need to open the scene in Studio change it. We are working on a new path to solve this.
Sorry for the inconvenience and best regards."
Ah. So I will assume that "not transferred correctly" equals "they are inverted colour wise".
Thanks stu.dio.
Edit: Inverted? MXS material reads "Maxwell Plastic" but the MXED does not show anything like the texture applied in C4D or what one would expect if the material is inverted. In both the MXS & MXCL, the test cube is just an untextured cube.

The wood texture is not transferring at all from C4D to MWR using a MWR Plastic or Diffuse tag. Opening the .mxs in MXStudio and the color is the MWR default color, not the materials applied in C4D.
