Render Failed v1.5

Has anyone had any luck with the new plugin? I cannot seem to get anything to render, even a simple sphere and cube scene.
ERROR: - object Sphere has triangles without material
ERROR: - Render Failed
I've tried everything I can think of, old MXMs, new MXMs, default materials, etc.

I can render some simple scenes, but the most complex ones fail.
(i did not adjust them especially for MW, but thats no excuse, it should not crash)
And i had 3 different crashes until now....
Not the best plugin so far i think.

I cannot even find maxwell in cinema anymore.
It's located in the cinema/ plugins folder as before. But nowhere to be found?

btw: I'm using windows and Cinema 9.101 - Is that the problem?
With the R10 demo it works! WTF is that? They disabled the support for 9.1 or did I do something wrong? Can someone confirm this?

As near as I can tell from the download page, versions prior to R9.6 are not supported with this new release. This is further supported by the fact that I was running R9.5 and couldn't even see the new plugin until I installed R9.6.

Check your material associations, to make sure your MXMs alll have a texture tag associated with them. I found that one of my associations was broken when I opened an old scene, which stopped the render.

the funny thing - trying with R10 Demo:
sun seems to be screwed up - the only change in sunlight I can get seems to be via changes in lattitude and longitude. hour changes don't change anything.
Old files I cannot render. As soon as I hit render SV in cinemaxwell Cinema is gone and I have to start it again.

Well that´s it for me and Maxwell.
I was waiting for the improved memory for highres work, but with no support for 8.5, i´m definitely out.
Thanks a lot Next Limit.
I´ll be sending you an email about that use of my images in your gallery.

@Rochr: wait at least for an answer from NL or the next plugin they are programming... maybe that supports older versions.
I'm done with 1.5 and deinstlled it already.

Unfortunately i'm also unable to render anything outta 1.5's new C4D plugin due to that
ERROR: - object Sphere has triangles without material problem

hope this will be fixed asap.

I'm guessing but I think you'll have to remap your textures for existing scenes...same prob for me but with a new file rendering out a cube with a diffuse worked ok...
I'm quietly reserving my judgement at the moment...

same problem here and when you open the mxs made by C4D in the studio, there's no material assign to the geometry.
Next Limit when have we got a good plug for C4D ?
