Hi guys,
i've been toying with the new plugin for a little and could not get an emitter to work whatever i tried.
I used the plugin presets with luminance or temperature, i used a c4d material with luminance and i tried a custom MXM material emitter.
I tried with and w/o multilight, in conjunction with skydome/phys sky and without these.
All render completely black objects.
Anyone else experiencing this or knows whats going wrong?

Invisible Emitters

I have an invisible emitter the size of the glass doors with another emitter outside acting as a sun and a flash emitter. When rendered with "preview" engine result is predictable however when rendered with "RS1", the sun emitter's rays comes through however the other emitters become disabled and no light from them is seen. The same behavior is in Studio.
The new plug-in is terrible and I was hoping for more speed.

@Maya69
you are using the Plugin for Maya i suppose?
@Shaun
Compared to what we had before this plugin is gold in my eyes. And the plug doesn't have anything to do with the performance of the renderer.
We are still not at 100% usability but i'd estimate a solid 70%
So i gather that I am the only one having problems with emitters via the C4D plugin? *sigh* more testing then - but i'm out of ideas

Maybe obvious, but have you checked the normal direction?
Have you done the "reset system" function?
Does it work with the sky option enabled?
I am on c4d r10 UB version, and most of it works fine (71%)

Yes I am having issues with custom mxm emitters myself. If I have an object higher up in my object tree with a custom emitter it gets applied to any other objects below it with a custom mxm tag that is different. Also I am getting crashes when applying the same custom mxm to objects right next to each other in the tree. Seems to be couple of issues so far with custom mxm's.
