Tag everything as they are supposed to be tagged, make the settings and press render, works fine. Congratulations, i´m impressed.

Need to do a small adjustment, stops render safely, do adjustment, press render again and i have a black hole!

Close Maxwell viewport, delete all the textures/tags, REDO everything identically, (including render settings that simply goes back to default), and it works fine again. Not so impressed anymore...

Great job with V1.1 and a very non-time saving workflow...again.
Luckily, this was a simple scene, but just how long do you think this procedure would´ve taken with 2500+ objects?

Just by curiosity, what exactly do you Beta people test anyway? The quickest way to export scenes to Studio?
Just asking, because surely this is an error that should´ve come to your attention at a very early stage. It´s fairly common practice to do a few tests before the final render.

Hi Rochr.

"Need to do a small adjustment, stops render safely, do adjustment, press render again and i have a black hole!"

This is what I do:

"Need to do a small adjustment, stops render safely."
CLOSE mxcl-viewer.
"do adjustment, press render again and"
...render starts from beginning and erverything is fine.

No need for
"delete all the textures/tags, REDO everything identically, (including render settings that simply goes back to default)". At least here.

If this Close-thing is already done by you at the right point, and I just missed it, then please don't waste your time with my post.
Otherwise, I hope the hint was helpful.

Greetings. Mesut.

Maybe you are having the same problem as me, see my thread: http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... hp?t=17702

If you selected a top or side view while you make your small adjustment then you will get a black render. Or with some unidentifiable noise on mostly black in my case,

Otherwise, it works fine for me.

Thanks guys.

This one doesn´t seem to have anything to do with the camera, but with MXM materials and/or tags. I didn´t even touch the camera or its tag.

As for your suggestion Mesut, i did try to close the viewer at first, with the same result. It didn´t work until i deleted all the texture tags and materials and textured everything all over again.

Loosing the render settings are no big deal, but the texturing issue is.
