Maxwell settings saved globally?!

What I just wonder: does cinema/maxwell save the settings in the file or cinema globally? Because I always get the same parameters when I start cinema than what I had last before I closed cinema.

That means I can never switch back to the "default" skydome colour, except I miss something....

Can it be that maxwell settings are saved globally? I think even the filename that maxwell is saving to stays the same for opening different files. If I have 2 scenes open there should be different settings in maxwell visible while switching from file to file. Just like the materials are not global, but scene-based.

Just tried it. Opened a car file I rendered with the output filename "Audi...." and another with "tisch...." and when I switch from one file to the other maxwell doesn't change a bit. So the maxwell settings are not saved scene-specific but global.

Now if I ever change the sky-colour (as I did) I will never get the "default" setting back because the changed version is saved.

It is fine that cinema isn't crashing anymore while opening with the maxwell tab in the start layout, but to have maxwell parameters saved cinema globally doesn't make sense.

Do I miss something to get back the default settings for maxwell?

Could you change that in the next version, please?

no sadly i doesnt save per scene.

another bug or "feature"

i must say i am extremly dissappoited by the c4d plug.
the new workflow is a pain in the a..just horrible. the selection thing doesnt work for the most things ( how can i apply 2 mxms?)

the main app, maxwell itself seems to be strongly imporved though...
please give us a plugin that is suitable to the great maxwell!
it deserves something better.

please!!!

cheers

i´m really thinking about programming my own C4D-plug...
unfortunatelly, I have no skills in 3d developing, just in audio
