Maxwell Render for Cinema4D Plugin Software Issues:

1 - Please ensure that your problem is not already known
because it may have already been solved. Check this sticky for posting
of new bugs or issues.

2 - Please verify you are using the current plugin and render
engine
version for your platform.

3 - Any registered user of the Cinema4D plugin on the
Maxwell Render forum can submit a issue report by posting a new
thread with the following information as a suggestion:

-Operating System and Version
-System hardware
-Description of situation in which the problem occurred
-Can the problem be reproduced in a certain way?
-Provide Rendered Images to illustrate problem if possible
-Provide archived MXS file and any bitmaps if possible
-Report one unique issue per thread

[Grave] Issues

G01 NEW - Skymap tag does not read maps for use with HDRI/MXI environment. Based on how the new tags work, the skymap tag may need a slot for corresponding texture tag, at the present it does not.

Work Around: Use Maxwell Studio to setup HDRI/MXI feature

User Suggestions:

01:
Relative paths for material texture links using the Custom MXM material tag in Cinemaxwell.

02:
Export of additional cameras into the MXS file. At the moment, you have to export additional MXS files for every additional additonal camera view besides the one current one selected and then merge them all into one main MXS file to have different camera views in one single MXS file.

03:
Export of C4D Scene to MXS: Convert Cinema 4D hierarchy to a group hierarchy in Maxwell Render Studio.

04:
Please consider an option that makes the default maxwell material for an object take what it can first from a C4D material (Channels that Maxwell Render can use), next use the Maxwell Render tag for additional material description.

As a secondary step; Only use the texture tag and polygon selection tag fields of the Maxwell Render tag if desired by the user, otherwise the default is the C4D material (channels) + Maxwell Render material tag applied to all polygons.
