hello,

when i export from cinema my whole mapping is lost.
i used all known (at least to me) methods, but no success.
i also loaded old scenes - no mapping !

could this be because of the cinema 9.6 upgrade ?
anybody else with this problem ?

please help this is urgent !

hey thanks for your reply,

so far i managed to get the mapping into studio. it looks like some of my .tiff maps weren´t accepted to be in the texture path (but they were).
either by cinema or maxell i do not know.
so i will investigate this further and send you a little testscene later, when i have some time.
right now i am very busy getting this job done...
... and have now lots of issues with this wjkjkjfdsuir network ...

just a guess: try jpg or tga instead of tiff. and be carefull with the size.

i assume you know that cinema has issues with some tiffs if you haven't got qt installed?

i have quicktime installed.
but yes if i use other image formats it works fine. but also with most of the .tiffs.
and it works fine in cinema as well. i only noticed the message "the image is not in your texture path - do you want to copy it?"
this normally happens if you use a path not specified as texture path. but this wasn´t the case here. other images from the path worked just fine.

tip: always say no to the copying
i always .jpg in maxwell and all textures work fine
although today ive noticed something about the materials not down to maps though so i shall look into it some more
