AndreD, is it so that you use the UB version? then almost all 3rd party plugins are not working...

For some reason I cannot extract the language files - neither on OS X nor on XP. Unzipper is always asking for a password. Did anybody else experience that? And as Carl007 mentioned, only use the PPC files if you´re not on MacIntel.

language installation has changed. you do this from inside cinema now.
look at he downloadable addendum for 9.6
it is described in there.
but there are really some problems concering plugins. haven´t tested cinemaxwell yet.

If nothing is working re: plugins - stick to the Cinema 4D PPC version in the same folder and to be safe delete the UB one so it doesn't load if you open a file from the finder - like I did today - a shock - but not a long one.

i cant update the language file inside c4d (plug) in
it didnt works !

I also had great difficulties to update the language file. Installation is a bit fuzzy:
1. Download the zip file
2. Remove the zip extension. Your file then ends with .lang4d.
3. Open C4D > Plugins > Install Language > Select the .lang4d > Install it
4. Quit C4D and restart the app
After this process your C4D version starts in German.
UPDATE: I´ve seen that Maxon now provides a "pure" .lang4d file without the zip extension for download.
