I am tracking all bugs related to Cinemaxwell plugin (windows and mac).

Can you give more information about how your textures are not working?

No I to have that problem... But when I abort the render in MXCL and open up the mxs file in studio, I have the textures in the right places, and they are jpg as-well. But I try to do all my textures as .tga nowadays

mxs coming from C4D

when i try to open in MXstudio

i get this message

CORRUPTED MXS

This mxs is obsolete or has been corrupted

Goncalo, When I abort the render, I make the s"show content" command on MXCL app. in there I go to the output foilder and I get the file called "deafult.mxs" bet it depends if you have namned the render etc..

It is clearly a hack.

I copy that file to some place outside MXCL.....

Then I open it from within Studio.

Never tried to generate just a MXS file from C4D, just generate one for render, how do you do that?

To get an mxs: use the c4d-plugin and disable the "render RGB channel" and then hit render. It generates the mxs that you can load into studio without the need to abort a render.

But i´m not sending the renders to Maxwell

In cinamaxwell i write the file inside my project folder

Maybe this is the reason about the texture things??? could be ????

NL could say something about this, please

I just ran this on PC and it works. I just made sure the complete path to texture is in the cinema 4d material.

This problem could be related to OSX if textures still do not load properly.

Tyrone

I m working with plugin not with studio

and now the textures don't work

with beta was perfect, now i don't have 1 texture, maybe is a path problem,... i will make some tests to try to figure out this problem.
