You need to create a material with a glass layer and a decal layer and then use weightmaps (or clipmaps) to show and hide the correct areas.

Check out: http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... hp?t=16232

It is the first one I found searching for "clipmaps" but there are other threads that talk about this issue.

This one is even better: http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... ight=decal

Good luck.

the materials are created and working fine when applied by them selves, and everything displays the way i want it in cinema. When maxwell renders it only shows the base material. I am trying to figure out what i am missing when stacking these materials.

Sounds as if you are trying to stack C4D materials. I think there might be a way to do that, but I was referring about using a Maxwell MXM material. In the MXM editor you can create layers in the way described in the links from the forum.
