and we can then fund and make our own god damn C4D plug-in. There's no way in the world it should be taking this long. I'm sure an independant developer would be able to release updates on a weekly basis.

Great idea actually. And probably the only way we would ever get a proper plugin for C4D.
I think it´s pretty obvious by now, that Next Limits main interest, as well as effort, goes straight into the Studio at the cost of the plugins.
Wouldn´t be surprised if this was the thought all along.

We shouldn't go to these lengths to get what we have already paid for.
I will once again say that the ONLY reason I bought M~R was the cinema connection.

Failing to provide a solid plugin, NL is failing its original deal.

Instead of making our own plugin maybe NL should pay a PROFESSIONAL C4D plugin programmer to make one.

Just to inform you, dear C4D users, a highly respectable C4D plugin developer stated yesterday:

I still remember when they have sent out an email to their customers that they were seeking for plugin programmers for the c4d bridge. When I emailed them, they didn´t even answer. And adding support for hierarchy treatment of tags...com´on, that´s a matter of minutes to implement (c4d makes it very easy already). Only shows how much they are concerned to get that bridge working. Not at all imo.

The funny thing is that if a NL affiliate came out and admitted their fault behind this mess and apologized for their f***up, I would probably grant them insurance (or help) to finish (or remake) the plugin.
The way they are dealing with it shows TOTAL irresponsibility.
