Are there any plans to upgrade the current Lightwave 8 plugin to 9.3 for Windows? I see there is one for Mac 9.3.

Also will there be a 64bit pluging for Lightwave 9.3 x64?

Cheers,

Tim.

Tim, I'm using the current LW plug with 9.3 in 64bit and all seems well. :)

Cheers, sir. There doesn't seem to be a world preview for gps and some time increases are in place through rendering direct from Lightwave.

Are you having any similar issues?

Blank scene with one Lightwave camera, physky & sun at default:-
Direct render from lightwave:- sl1 4m39
direct render after mxs export from Lightwave through studio:- sl1 24s

Blank scene comparison, add maxwell camera & render - direct render from MXST:- sl1 7s

This is using 1.5.8 plugin with x32 Lightwave 9.3.

I'm more used to the 3DSMax plugin, which seems sooo much richer in options & presentation to the Lightwave plugin.

hmm......sounds wierd.

I'm not getting any of those 'lag' issues at all, other than a 'save mxs' time which seems equal to a normal 'save' within mxst. :?

Running ok on x64 windows, Lightwave 9.3 x64 and mxst x64 with 1.5.8 plug in.

Was wierd, but it was happening on a x32 machine.

Thanks for your feedback. :D
