Help request - Problem doing anim via MW plug-in

Hi all

My layout scene/anim is 60 frames long. It has six objects all moving and rotating as well as the camera panning. When I try to do an anim of the scene with Maxwell (via the "Animation" checkbox with the start and end frame fields below it), the only animation of the scene that is registering to MW over the 60 frames is the camera panning. All of the objects sit dead and don't move/rotate in the slightest (which of course kinda takes some of the life out of it :D).

Is there something more I need to set beyond this "Animation" checkbox? Or am I doing something else wrong? The only remedy I can see right now is to manually advance the anim in layout one frame at a time and send each to the MW plug-in. Obviously, this can mean my needing to sit a loong time manning the computer. :( It's a strange problem to me, because it obviously is registering the animation set-up to a degree (the camera panning).

Thanks ahead of time for the advice! :)

Sorry to be a bother, but I am still stuck with this. Anyone else have trouble with the plug-in in "animation" mode not acknowledging the moving/rotating of objects in the scene (while at the same time doing just fine with the camera's moving/rotating)? I am now tempted to think it is a bug in the plug-in as everything else seems to work as it should, but I'm more than willing to be corrected.

My pal and I are trying to get this project underway. We love the Maxwell look for the renders, and are hoping that we can get it to work. :)
The workaround is to move the camera instead of the objects to simulate the flying-by of the ships, but for the shots where they are supposed to be rotating in formation, moving the camera will obviously not work at all.

Thanks again in advance for any assistance! :)

Hi!
it works for me on 32 and 64 bits as well.

Perhaps you should contact us to technical support to send us the scene?

Is anyone experiencing this as well?

Strange! I will send you the scene then with sample anims (LW and MWR) showing the problem (plus all my system specs). I've tried moving/rotating the objects with and without nulls and neither helped the objects do anything in the MW renderings.

Also, I see the "Motion blur" box in the LW plug-in grayed out, with the message when I click on it "Control is disabled." Is this a permanent thing in this version of the plug-in or is its graying out I'm seeing just linked to a control in layout that I might have incorrectly set?

Thanks for the reply Beatriz :)

Motion blur is temporarily disabled in all plugins due to a SDK bug. It will be enabled in the next public plugins update.
