So Nicole, what's this week's news on the LW plugin update, anything happening?

I must admit, I am getting a little antsy...I am very excited about Ver 1.5 and have a project sitting here ready to go. I hope they get the plugin fixed or whatever so it gets posted soon...

I understand you are waiting for the plug-in, but I said last Friday that the LW for Mac plug-in is about 10 to 15 days away. We are still trying to solve some PPC specific issues and hope to have it ready rather sooner than later.
No news simply means that there is no news giacob. Like I said, i will try to keep you updated.

Nicole i am not waiting for Mac plugin but just for windows plugin

I think there might be a little confusion here, or maybe it's just me. You mention the Mac LW plug-in not being ready, but RonB (according to his signature) and a few of us others here are waiting for the fixed (Intel) LW plug-in that Mihnea mentioned on May 28th...

We're terribly sorry about it, it's fixed right now and an updated version will be available in a matter of days.

I think it was mentioned somewhere else as well a number of days ago that the Intel LW plug-in is fixed. So, if the Intel plug-in has been fixed/ready for a while but isn't being released, does that mean that the plan is not to release it until the Mac (PPC) version is done? That is a fair approach of course. It's just not quite what some of us were hoping for; you can surely understand that our hearing that our (Intel) plug-in is repaired and ready but having days and days go by without seeing it posted gets some of us a little anxious.

I'm not complaining or anything. I appreciate you keeping us informed, Nicole, really! Just pointing out something that could maybe possibly use a little clarifying to some of us. Thanks!

Sorry - my mistake. I thought you were waiting for the Mac plug-in and i wasn't aware of Mihnea's post... Anyway, checked again (sorry for the delay), and the LW plug-in for Windows is ready now, we aim release it in the coming days. The Mac plug-in needs some more time, as I mentioned before. We are considering to release Intel and PPC seperately, but that's a decision to be made by the tech dep. Anyhow, the Mac version of the LW plug-in is not far off either.

Thanks for the heads up Nicole...

You can tell the tech guys, and I am sure I speak for the majority of LW PC users, we vote for releasing when it's ready...but I bet you already knew that ;0).

If you're done with the intel mac plugin why don't you release it???
By the way, at the moment there is no lightwave plugin download available in the download section. What kind of strange sign is that - did you give up?

Please help, 'cause we're just dying to get started!

I have been using it since and it works fine...

franly i wuoldnt say the new plugin works fine but i would say it works more or less... and can be used with some workaround...

at the moment I can't find any lightwave download in the download section!
I'm not looking for the PC version, but for the intel MAC version and I believe it hasn't been released yet, or am I wrong?
