Hi ADL,
I moved this post to the relevant section. Please try to post in the correct sections - I do try to read everything (not just the general Maxwell Render section) and although I might miss something occasionally, I will reply as soon as I can/ have the info.
Yes, there will be an update for the 1.5 Lightwave plug-in. We aim to release it next week (if things go to plan).
Hope it helps. Thanks,
Nicole

Thank you for the answer Nicole,
we will make a review for our CGI magazine and we use
Lw version too...
As always, we will wait...
I have posted this in the general section because
similar question in this area was without answer...

Hi Nicole,
another week has gone by and still no sight of a lightwave plugin for mac!!!
Can you give us some information why it takes such a long time to develop the mac plugin and when it will be added?
I would love to start working with 1.5 but I simply can't, so this is a desperate outcry - please answer!!!
Thanks!

Hi,
I'm sorry for the absence of info during these past days. Lightwave for Mac will be out in approx 10-15 days. The Intel version is finished, but we have come accross some difficult PPC-specific issues which we are working on now.
Of course there will also be an update for Windows soon.
Thanks,
Nicole

...at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel now, but man how I envy those max, c4d and maya guys, they can always get started right away.
Thanks for your answer! Please let us know if there will be more delays until the release - bad news is better than no news!

I agree with dirkmeister...please keep us informed, we are all chomping at the bit to have a working plugin and any news is good news.
Cheers, Ron
