When will the next plug in update for LightWave be released?

The LW forum seems to be dead...

So does that mean that all LW users are happy with the current plug in?

Right... And I have to confess that I am not very happy with the LW plug in. I can work in Studio but I really would like to do some animations and that isn't possible for the moment.

I can't work properly with the LW plugin. I'm using LW9 and i'm have to work in Studio by importing the objects as dxf if i want to make something out of it. Lets hope NL will offer us the LW9 plugin as a Christmas gift

You can't bring them in as lwos?
Works great here, multi-layered .lwo files [LW9 64bit] work a treat and very fast workflow in Studio..........strange it's not working for you? :?

Check that everything's tripled and that there are no 'lone' points floating around in there.........those are the only two caveats that seem to create problems this end. :)

at least to be able to make animation .. i would say... at least to be able to make texturing with a clear logic which now is impossible....at least not having strange conflict with map that make render black etc...my list is very long

From newletter:
We target to release updates for all the plug-ins before the end of the year
Hopefully that means LW?

I've never been able to properly import LWOs into Studio...I always have to export an MXS from LW first, and import THAT into Studio. Kind of annoying, really.
