Hi all,
I've just purchased my license today and had netmanager installed on one machine. I then decided the directory setup was not ideal, moved it around and ever since then, net manager kept the old mxs temp directory I set originally as well as the users/servers list. I then found the manager.ini file in My Documents, deleted it, and restarted netmanager. Now it lost its settings. Everytime I start it up, it asks for a temporary mxs directory, and the servers as well as the users allowed lists are empty. It won't keep any new settings I give it, although it writes an empty manager.ini into My Documents again (isn't that a bug?).
I then uninstalled it, manually removed the c:\program files\next limit directory and reinstalled it. That didn't help, netmanager doesn't remember any settings and attempting to render like that simply will render out into the nirvana, the image files get rendered, but not written anywhere.
I was expecting issues with a beta... but this is not an issue, this is simply non-functional!
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks
- Balt
P.S. I should add: this happens both on a Dual Opteron 250 with WinXP 32bit as well as a Dual Xeon with Windows XP 64bit, same exact effect.
