Hello,

SOLVED: edited the license file to match correct address for new computer.

Had to take my main machine in for service. Took my hard drive out of main machine and installed into back-up machine. Boot back-up machine and all is well.

1. Launch Maxwell and it reports:

LICENSE INFO
License found in standard license path : /Volumes/Macintosh SSD/gary/Maxwell/maxwell_license.lic
ERROR: - Error getting license, returned code : License server does not support this product
ERROR: - Maxwell has no valid license.
ERROR: - NO LICENSE PRESENT

2. I run through "maxwell Render License Activator", choose add to existing license. "maxwell Render License Activator" reports a successful activation.

3. Maxwell does not find correct license and reports same as above.

4. RLM appears to be running properly.

5. Mac osx 10.9.4 Maxwell v3.0.1.3

Is it possible that some software is looking for the MAC address of my regular machine or something similar?

Of course I need to run renderings over the weekend— definitely wrong time for my machine to go down!

Any help is appreciated.
