Network Rendering freezes

Hi!

I just recently purchased V3 and I'm having frequent network render issues when rendering simple animation. Across x4 workstations, all is working well, and randomly the rendering in all nodes freezes. It could be after 10 frames, 50 frames or whatever. Render Manager shows the individual nodes as rendering, but no further progress in each of them. I have to stop and restart at the last good frame. Each time this happens, I notice a message on one workstation as:

New Job order received
##### Current frame changed. Frame XX #####
Message from Manager: mxi_received

Where 'XX' is the individual frame number.

All 4 nodes running Win 64 Professional, Rhino V5. Files are being written to the server running WHS 2011.

Any clue what's causing this? Thanks...

Alan

Are you sure it's not just the monitor that's freezing? I have that happen to me all the time. Just close the monitor, and re-open it.

Brian,

Nope.... all machines in network go to idle state, sitting there waiting for me to do something... like restart where it got hung up.

Are you sending dependencies? I've had similar issues before when I didn't have " send dependencies" selected. I know that's not the "correct" way to work, but it'll narrow down the issue if it works.

Dependencies are being sent, same materials in use for all frames. Since I originally posted, haven't had a single 'freeze'...
