Previewing MXI disconnects node

I forgot to grab the notes from my node, I'll have to try and reproduce this when I have a chance. For now I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.
I've got 2 pc's working on a network job. I have the network merge together a preview for me and then open that preview in Maxwell Render at which point my local node goes 'disconnected' from the Monitor.
