Hey when I do a network rendering, I get this message after I send the rendering to network.

MXI output does not seem a network path, it will be saved locally in the Manager: Do you want to continue? Retry will convert this path into a network path if possible. yes retry no.

My network is just one macpro connected via ethernet. It is a 12 core.

I am using a imac as the main computer via FormZ. I set the mxi and rendered files to be saved on my iMac.

thanks!

you have to use the network name even if your output folder is on your local machine, because this is how the networked node sees it.
Use an UNC path (Universal Naming Convention)

\\server\share\file_path

(server is your iMac)

I think on a all mac network you can select "yes" and the render will proceed and work. You can also select "retry" and the paths will be modified and also work.

Are your results different?

I select Yes and it does work. I was just wondering if I was missing something or a way to get rid of that message.

thanks.
