v2 network render question.

Hello,

I just upgraded to v2 last week. I did a network rendering last night. The node for one machine said it rendered to 17sl successfully. The other node is just finishing up it is at 16.92. But the monitor said each rendering was only at 10 sl. So some where some how it stopped keeping track. So the question is where is my mxi file? They used to go to a temp folder with v1.7 but there is nothing there now.

Thanks,

Aaron

I found the .mxi for the render node that finished last, out of my 2 node farm. It was Output_temporary.mxi in the rendernode folder. But in the same directory on my other machine, only the final rendered image exists in the rendernode folder. So it worked, but only left me with a final image and with no mxi file to merge with the other one. I searched my machine and it does not seem to exist. So what may have happened? With v1.7 if mxcl crashed during a network render and the nodes were still chugging, I was always able to retrieve my mxi's for manual merging after they finished.

Thanks,

Aaron

Network render test number 2. The monitor stopped updating both nodes at 9 sl. Both nodes are at 14.5 sl. Why is this happening?

Anyone experiencing this? There is a message that the monitor is disconnected. Why would it get disconnected? The nodes are still rendering away. How do insure I will not lose my mxi's since the monitor is not working?

Using 2.02

Here is my log....Not being a network expert to say the least. Is this a port issue?

I have benn using my Vista machine as the monitor and the xp node keeps getting dissconnected sometime during the rendering. So this time I used my xp machine as the monitor. It still dissconected again. What can I do to prevent the node from being disconnected?
