Cooperative render and a power failure...

Hi all,
Question concerning cooperative render: if we have a powerfailure on our network (they are announcing storms this week-end...), can one still have access to the work that was produced until the failure, and merge the MXIs that were in progress?
Putting the question another way, where do the server nodes save their MXIs during the render process so that one can then go and merge them manually. I searched the obvious spots (mydocuments, maxwell directory) but can't find any trace of the temporaty MXI or JPGs.
