I don't seem to be able to resume 1.1 mxi's with 1.5, but I was wondering if it was possible to co-op a 1.1 and a 1.5 together?

No, it will not work retroactively like that.
Resumability requires v1.5 MXIs they have a different structure.

Nope, you can't.

MXI 1.1 has more than 3 times the fiesize of MXI 1.5.
They can't mix or resume with each other.
