Hello,

I'm using Pentium D and want to purchase a Dual Core machine. What i understood regarding maxwell licence - we can use four processors with one licence. I don't have previous experience with this. Is this working?

thanks.

pentium d = 1 core
dual core = 2 cores

total: 3 cores.

1 license: 4 cores, no matter how distributed over a network.

BUT remember: NL gave the plus-one bonus, a free additional license, so You can work on 8 cores with 1 license !

ask NL directly about the plus-one license !

actually is 4 cores per license. those pentium Ds (smithfield or presler) were already dual core, though crappy ones.

cool :) , thanks,

I have the plus one from my personal licence (eating dust in a folder, on an old don't-remember-spec-core-machine. ).
