The Channels -> Render Types don't work in the old network system as of MR 3.2.0.4. Only the 1st and 2nd options work. All others are the same as option 2. I didn't see anything in the changelog for 3.2.1.0. Here's a linked to a lengthy (probably too lengthy to quickly digest), detailed post about it:
