Is it me or the release node is not too clever...
When rendering an animation you normally have several PCs calculating each frame. So if I want to release a node because I will need it to do other things, it will release it from the animation but it won't go to the end of that frame!?!?!? So I have to do this a few seconds before my SL is reached, so I am forced to monitor it closely in the end!
Why not the ability to release it forcing it to finish the actual frame?
In that case I could use my working PCs easily to render while I am not in the office!
I will post it to the wish list but maybe I am missing something...
Cheers!
