Everything related to Maxwell network rendering systems.
#230987
I started my first co-op render last week and let it render over the weekend, and when I get in this morning, everything appeared to be going fine on every computer except the main one... it wouldn't come out of standby.

Not coming out of standby has happened once before while using 1.5, but the more pressing issue is weather or not I can salvage the work that was done.

Any tips?

Do you mean you lost the manager session?

Yeah, the computer with the manager session was still running, but it was failing to come out of standby (I just updated by BIOS, and the release notes said it fixed the problem). I didn't want to, but I restarted the computer.

You can find cooperative.mxi files under the temp (defined by operating system's environment variables) directory of each server and merge them manually.

Thank you so much, tom, I'll see if that works.

I've found that if the manager computer goes down (this is 1.1 info) - that restarting the manager picks up the servers in progress. Maybe this would still work in 1.5?

I went into all the computers and grabbed the mxi files and everything turned out great. Thank you all for your help.
