Everything related to Maxwell network rendering systems.

I don't have enough computers to really figure this out, but it seems like the MXI merge process is sequential. In other words, after you stop a job, one node sends its MXI to the next node on the list, then that node merges the two and sends the result on to the next node, who repeats the process, and so on. Is that the fastest way to do it? I have no idea about anything really, but it seems like it would work better for all nodes to send the MXIs to a central computer (probably the manager), then have that one merge them all. It could merge them as it gets them while it waits for some of the slower nodes to check in. Does that make sense? Is it even true anyway?
