Hi, while I had some free time I decided to model this very simple scene and give maxwell a try to render it.
Physical sky, 3 hours, straight render from maxwell
athlon xp3400 1gig DDRAM.
Hope u like it

Simple but nice.
Very good texture quality.
I'd prefer the sky a little more blue; though. Also, the edges of the concrete could use a fillet (especially around the water trough at lower righthand side)

Yes, unfortunately, the sky changed the color when I modified the Burn, shutter speed and monitor gamma.

--- Thomas, in my experience the typical construction calls for a 2 x 6 form to be used to create the negative space and therefore creates a 90° corner by default, but i think that if the particular contractor in question was insightful ---- he'd provide a nice radius to decrease damage and improve aesthetics.

very nice mate! code wise you'd have to have handrails though

Thanks, agree with all of you, in my new comission, I'm chamfering a little bit all edges, just to kill the very sharp edges.
Handrails would look nice also, but now, I had to get back to work!.
