Did u use a camera flash for the scene? If not, try removing all the lights from the scene, and do a test render with only the flash, and see how long it takes (it should be alot faster)....then try the scene again with all the lights plus the flash...it might speed things up a bit, but I'm not so sure...

Nice renders, the noise especially on the white ceiling could be because you used to high RGB values. You should generally keep them below 220, otherwise it gets very difficult to get rid of the noise due to light bouncing endlessly. I remember reading even completely white walls in reality only have about 218 value.

Cool Images!!
Just one idea: turn up contrast <-> lower the gamma value

Very clean renders. Only thing that bugs me is the background image in the first pic - it's the wrong perspective in comparison to the scene. Looks like there's a gigantic wave about to hit the coastline...

The second image could use some more dramatic lighting, it's so homogeneous right now. Other than that, great job!!

hello
, you are wasting some very useful resources there.......
one week.....that`s a clear example of what a rendering engine means foe some....nothing more than a toy to play with...
when you will be a little bit older , hopefully you wil realize the value of time....days and weeks of your life....gone forever.
keep going...
cheers

I don't know. To me, it looks like the ocean is slanting up and away from the scene, like you're sitting in the bottom of a bowl. Judging from the trees in the foreground, the structure is sitting pretty high. So, from the prespective of the camera (which appears to be pretty near horizontal), you should have the horizon approximately center of the window. But you can see ships near the top of the windows -as if the original photo was taken pointing downwards.

Maybe this'll illustrate it better than I can put into words. Based on the perspective of the scene camera, the oceans horizon should be somewhere around where the lines cross (it was a hasty edit job as you can see

).

If you look at the majority of interior renders in maxwell, the perspective is somewhat screwed. I think it's the fact that the maxwell camera isn't properly adjusting for 3d space, I could be wrong, but in some cases its really noticeable.
